When we fight, We win.
Mobilizing for Healthy Communities
26th ANNUAL CONFERENCE & MEETING
Dec. 8 | 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Zoom | ASL Interpretation Available
Celebrating our wins. Building our power.
This past year, public health faced unprecedented challenges, including vicious and corrupt attacks from the current federal administration. And across Massachusetts and the nation, people refused to back down!
Join us on Tuesday, December 8, from 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM, as we come together to celebrate what we’ve won and build power for the work still ahead: continuing to push back against unlawful federal actions and corporate greed, doubling down on evidence-based science, and resisting authoritarianism.
Conference agenda.

CATALYST FOR JUSTICE AWARD
Honoring Dr. Georges Benjamin
Few leaders embody the fight for public health like Dr. Georges Benjamin. The MPHA Board will honor him with the Catalyst for Justice Award, given to those whose policies and commitments bend the arc of the moral universe toward justice. Under his leadership, APHA has taken the Trump administration to court, including joining MPHA as a co-plaintiff against Secretary Kennedy..
POLICY
Unveiling MPHA’s 2027-2028 Policy Priorities
MPHA will unveil the policy priorities we’ll mobilize around together in the new legislative session. The agenda takes on emerging threats to public health while continuing our work on the building blocks of good health. You’ll be among the first to see the policy agenda and how you can help win it.
