Kristina St. Cyr is the Massachusetts Director for PIH US. Kristina has over a decade of experience working in the public health field. She began her career working on the US/Mexico border in Southern New Mexico working to improve the local food system and increase access to healthy, affordable food for children and families living on the border. She soon expanded her work to focus on addressing a myriad of social determinants of health by leading a county wide public health coalition, Place Matters, in Dona Ana County. After moving back to her home state of Massachusetts, Kristina joined the team at the MA Public Health Association where she worked for seven years leading various public health policy campaigns and coalitions. Most recently, Kristina worked as the Director of Policy & Civic Engagement for the MA Association of Community Development Corporations where she led their public policy work focused on supporting community development, promoting housing equity, and ensuring equitable economic investment and empowerment. Kristina has a Bachelor’s Degree from Fairfield University in International Studies and Spanish.
