Jamie Klufts

Jamie Klufts, MPH, is a public health educator and activist. Jamie recently joined the faculty in the Health Science Program at Boston University, and previously was the Director of Public Health Workforce Development at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell where she also taught a course on politics and advocacy in public health as part of the University’s undergraduate public health program. Her experiences in policy and advocacy include her current role as a co-chair of the Healthy Youth Coalition, a statewide grassroots coalition focused on improving the quality of sex and relationship education in Massachusetts public schools, and previous roles leading campaigns related to increasing access to SNAP benefits and creating emergency mental health services, in addition to managing a Political Action Committee (PAC). She also worked at the Massachusetts Public Health Association from 2014-2015. Jamie received a masters in public health and a bachelors of science in health science from Boston University
