Our work for health equity and racial justice would not be possible without you.
MPHA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization (EIN: 042326503) which means all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. MPHA relies on the generosity of our donors to support our work to build a statewide alliance for public health.
MPHA welcomes gifts through DAFs, stocks and planned giving vehicles.
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs): Making a grant recommendation from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) allows you to direct your philanthropy to support our policy advocacy, community building, and equity agenda. You can contact the administrator of your DAF or simply fill out your gift information on our donation page and click on DAFpay under payment details.
Stock and Securities: Transferring stock or other securities, such as bonds and mutual funds, directly from your brokerage account, can provide you with substantial tax benefits.
Planned Giving: Naming MPHA as a beneficiary through your will, estate, annuities, and other accounts such as life insurance, sometimes called legacy gifts, provides a tax-free donation to MPHA. Your financial advisor or lawyer can help you ensure that your wishes are carried out.
Please contact Ana Hidalgo for help facilitating a gift through your DAF, to get the information you need to provide your broker for a stock gift, or to begin a conversation about how you may include MPHA in your estate planning.
