Dolores Thibault-Muñoz has dedicated her life and career to assuring that the voices of historically vulnerable communities are heard and represented in our laws, systems, and policies. Dolores joined the board in 2019 and during her tenure has co-chaired the Racial Equity & Health Committee and been a member of MPHA’s Policy Council. 

Dolores has been a leader in several nonprofit organizations serving northern Worcester County and has been an attorney in private practice and with the Committee for Public Council Services. She was also the first Latina elected to the Fitchburg City Council and in 2023, was appointed by Governor Healey to the Judicial Nominating Commission. 

Dolores lives in Gardner with her husband and two daughters. She is originally from Chicago, where she was a community organizer and also worked in youth development. She loves to garden, write poetry, be involved in social Justice activism and spending time with her family.
