MPHA is widely recognized for its advocacy, public education, and coalition leadership. Our major successes have involved working closely with other organizations and our effective advocacy is based on our ability to bring together diverse groups – from labor unions to community health centers – to collaborate effectively on common priorities. We lead and provide staffing assistance to several statewide coalitions, including ones working on healthy food access, transportation, the state’s public health budget, equitable transportation, and local public health infrastructure.
If you are looking for practical experience in public health, MPHA is the place for you! We offer a wide variety of exciting and challenging internships each fall and spring semester.
If you interested in an internship with MPHA, please contact Nopalzin Torres at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
