Summary of Position
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) seeks to hire an Operations Coordinator to assist the Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH) in western Massachusetts. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Policy, Planning & Operations, the Operations Coordinator supports the work of the policy, planning, and operations unit in ensuring that policies, procedures, training, and technical assistance for cross-jurisdictional sharing are effectively implemented. The coordinator also serves as a liaison and collaborates with internal DPH groups working closely with OLRH.
- Experience developing and implementing workplans, supporting program development, providing technical assistance, and supporting systems change
- A commitment to working in a dynamic, diverse, and rapidly evolving work environment
- At least 3 years of experience in program management or business administration
- A deep understanding and commitment to diversity, cultural competence, and cultural humility, as well as the social determinants of health related to health equity.
