Last Friday, June 3, nearly 400 people from across the Commonwealth came together over breakfast to honor four dedicated and accomplished public health heroes and to demonstrate support for MPHA’s commitment to a healthier and more equitable Massachusetts. Honorees provided inspiring words of wisdom, humility and hope. Exciting speakers such as Attorney General Maura Healey and Congressman James McGovern emphasized the importance of social justice in the fight for health equity.
We are immensely grateful to the many sponsors and supporters of this 14th Annual Awards Breakfast which raised over $160,000 and will allow MPHA to continue its advocacy, education, and statewide coalition-building to improve public health.
