On February 24, 2016 Health Resources in Action (HRiA), a national leader in public health consulting services and medical research, announced today that Steven Ridini, Ed.D., has been appointed as its new President and Chief Executive Officer effective March 1, 2016. He succeeds Ray Considine, HRiA’s former President and CEO, who is retired in February 2016 after 27 years of distinguished service to HRiA and the public health community. Prior to joining HRiA, Dr. Ridini was Director of Prevention Services at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA, and the Education Coordinator at PRIDE, Inc., which is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. He worked with USAID in Belize to develop a national alcohol and drug education curriculum for that country. After earning a Master’s degree in Public Health, Ridini also earned a Doctorate in Education from Harvard University.
