MPHA Hits the Airwaves on Food Movement Radio

Increasing access to healthy, affordable foods for everyone is a top priority for MPHA, so we were thrilled to be invited to talk about the MA Food Trust on a radio program dedicated to food. Food Movement Radio airs weekly on WCUW91.3FM, a community radio station based in Worcester. The Food Movement Radio interview with MPHA Field Director Andrea Freeman airs 9/7/15.

Food Movement Radio is the brain child of Jean McMurry, Executive Director of the Worcester County Food Bank, and Liz Sheehan Castro, Director of the Worcester Food & Active Living Policy Council. As the co-hosts, sound engineers, and editors, Liz and Jean share information and ideas about food issues, projects, programs, and “how we all can get involved in creating a healthy, sustainable, equitable food system for all!”  WCUW91.3FM airs their interviews on Mondays at 12:30pm (lunch time!). All shows are available online after they have aired.
