MPHA is accepting nominations for its 2015 Public Health Awards Breakfast! Nominations will be accepted through Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Awards will be presented at the Massachusetts Public Health Association Awards Breakfast in the spring of 2015.

Paul Revere Award
The recipient shall have made a significant contribution to the promotion of public health or development of public health programs in Massachusetts, and should demonstrate initiative, ability, leadership, and conscientiousness. The Award is reserved for those who have made an outstanding impact on community health. The Paul Revere Award is MPHA’s highest honor.
Lemuel Shattuck Award
Awarded to a person who has made or is making a significant contribution to the broad field of public health. This person should be living in New England and/or working in this area the greater part of his or her career. The choice should be based on actual major contributions to the betterment of public health practice in the area, in addition to academic contributions.
Alfred Frechette Award
Presented annually to a young person (age 40 or younger) of high accomplishment and promise in the health field in Massachusetts. The recipient should be a person who demonstrates leadership and passion.
Corporate Citizenship in Public Health Award
For leadership and commitment to integrating public health values into business practice.
Public Health Leadership in Medicine Award
For extraordinary commitment to bringing public health principles and partnerships into the practice of medicine.
