Senate Action Needed on Office of Health Equity

Please join MPHA and the Disparities Action Network in calling on the Senate to pass H3888, An Act to Eliminate Health Disparities in the Commonwealth. The Office of Health Equity would be housed within the Executive Office of Health and Human Services and would be tasked with monitoring and coordinating government actions to ensure equity.

H3888 has already passed the House of Representatives and was sent to the Senate Ways & Means Committee. We only have two months left to pass this important health legislation. Don’t let it get bogged down!

Ask your Senator to please speak with Senator Brewer, Chair of Senate Ways and Means, and request that H3888 be sent from Ways & Means unchanged to the Senate floor for a vote.

To reach your senator, call the Massachusetts State House at 617-722-2000 and ask to be connected with your senator or an aide. If you do not know who your state senator is, first go to www.WhereDoIVoteMA.com.
